The BLG's first-semester 2L Job Fair will take place virtually, via Flo Recruit, on Friday, January 16, 2026. The job fair provides several BLG member organizations the opportunity to select and interview for 2027 Summer Associate positions from a nationwide pool of highly qualified JD 2028 interested in working in Boston, who are either law students of color or law students with a demonstrated commitment to advancing inclusion within their schools, communities, or other settings. 1Ls: you may still apply through BLG, even if you have submitted a direct application with any of the participating firms.
Due to timing, we will not be holding the in-person Pre-Job Fair Reception for this early first-semester job fair.
PLEASE READ the following details carefully before registering. Law students: oversight on your behalf can impact your ability to interview. The link to apply is at the end of this timeline.
Eligibility: This event is for rising 2L students (JD28) attending an accredited law school in the U.S. seeking 2027 Summer Associate positions in Boston. LLM Students are not eligible to apply.
Important Dates:
Saturday, December 20, 2025 - Sunday, January 11, 2026 (12 PM EST) - Flo Recruit open for students to register and apply for open positions. When registering, please select 1L as your class year, otherwise you will not see the available jobs. This deadline will not be extended for any reason, so please take note of the 12 PM noon cutoff. All application materials will be released to employers at the submission deadline; materials submitted earlier will not be reviewed in advance. If you receive your transcript before the deadline, you must upload it on your end, otherwise, you will not be considered for interviews. In Flo Recruit, you will see the option to rank law firms based on interest. This is for your own tracking only, and will not be seen by the firms or the BLG, and will not affect if and where you are invited to interview.
Sunday, January 11, 2026 - Wednesday, January 14, 2026 - Employers will be reviewing applications and making interview invite selections. During this time you must be aware of two things:
1- If you receive a transcript during this time, you must send it to the BLG via email.
2- You must inform BLG if you need to withdraw from the job fair for any reason.
Wednesday, January 16, 2026 - Interview invitations will be available via Flo Recruit in the late afternoon. If you need to cancel your interview for any reason, please do so immediately, so that your interview may be given to another student. You may see that you have been invited to participate as an alternate. Please see notes about alternates at the bottom of this page to see what that means.
Friday, January 16, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST- BLG Annual Diversity Job Fair via Flo Recruit. These interviews are 20-minute-long screener interviews. Some offices may invite you back for an additional interview.
Alternates: Some students may be invited to interview as an alternate. Please be aware, this does not guarantee you will receive an interview on January 16th. As an alternate, you might receive an outreach to interview with a firm if a slot opens up on their schedule, because another student has withdrawn, and the employer able to meet with someone who they previously identified as a candidate they are interested in meeting with.
