Whether its arts, culture, or
entertainment…you name it…we’ve got it!
A short walk or subway ride will
take you to the many famous neighborhoods our city has to offer. First stop will
be the Theatre District where we’ll catch a Broadway show at the Colonial
Theatre, or an afternoon matinee to see The Boston Ballet’s, The Nutcracker at
the Opera House. Next we’ll grab a quick bite to eat in Chinatown at one of the
local dim sum eateries, then cut across the Boston Common and over to Newbury
Street, where the selection of stores have options to suit every pocketbook.
Heading across town we’ll walk through Faneuil Hall Market Place and sample some
of the cuisine choices, while picking up a few souvenirs. Across the street from
Faneuil Hall is the North End, the city’s oldest residential district where
people have resided since the 1660’s. We’ll stroll through the narrow
cobblestone streets where we can pick from any number of restaurants for a
delicious, Italian meal. Afterwards we’ll stop into the famous “Mike’s Pastry”
Shop, and sip on cappuccino while indulging in a cannoli…or two! We’ll cap off
the sightseeing tour with a visit to the New England Aquarium, Museum of Science
or the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), located in its brand new facility on
the waterfront.
Had enough of the city atmosphere?
Experience the scenic landscape of nearby Cambridge, MA. Go boating on the
Charles River and sail past the grounds of Harvard University and the
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Rent a car and drive to the Cape
Cod beaches, the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket, or stay local and
hike or bike the majestic Blue Hills mountain range.
Let’s not forget that
Massachusetts is home to several major league sports teams, including the New
England Patriots (“Pats”), three time National Football League Champions, the
Boston Celtics, the Boston Bruins and the Boston Red Sox who are the 2007 World
Series Champions! We dare you to try and navigate the streets of Yawkey Way with
crowds of people trying to enter Fenway Park for a game!
Boston, so much to do and see –
historical landmarks, theatres, the Waterfront, whatever your pleasure. Once you
explore Boston and the Greater Boston area, you'll be drawn to its dynamic
multi-cultural lifestyle and all that it has to offer you. We invite you to
bring your talent and energy to Boston’s growth! Welcome to Boston!
