Charting Your Legal Future (1L)
An interactive session that highlights the value of pursuing a legal career in Boston. This event is held annually in Boston, New York and Washington, D.C.

Mentor Program (1L)
Students of Color develop a one-on-one relationship with an attorney from one of the BLG member organizations.

Mock Interview Program (1L)
This Program allows students to practice their interviewing skills, through two 20-minute interviews conducted by a practicing attorney, followed by one-on-one feedback.

Welcome Dinner for Law School Student Leaders of Color
Hosted by a member firm for new student leaders. The BLG provides an overview of its programs and students are invited to offer suggestions on how the BLG can best support their organization’s needs.

Welcome Reception for New Fall Associates of Color
The Reception welcomes these new associates to the Boston legal community. In addition, it provides them with the opportunity to meet and network with each other, as well as other associates and partners.

Job Fair (2L’s and 3L’s)
The Boston Lawyers Group Job Fair for Law Students of Color takes place annually in Boston and Washington, D.C. The Job Fair provides participating member organizations with a great opportunity to select and interview applicants from a nationwide pool of qualified students of color.  

Creating Best Practices Series
The Series is offered to member organizations. Members discuss and share “best practices” around identifying, recruiting, advancing and retaining attorneys of color.

Courtroom Decorum Program
This Program is designed for junior litigators and junior associates. It features judges who role-play various scenarios that highlight appropriate and inappropriate courtroom behavior. Judges provide feedback, and everyone engages in an informal networking reception.

Meet the Partners of Color
A networking reception for all BLG member attorneys. Associates socialize with senior attorneys and partners of color in an informal atmosphere. 

Celebrating Justices of Color
An informal networking reception where attorneys can personally meet and share experiences with Boston’s Justices of Color.

Summer Associates Events
The BLG offers a variety of networking events specifically designed for summer associates of color employed with participating member firms. These events include a welcome breakfast, etiquette luncheon, wine tasting reception and a summer soiree social.

Networking Events
In addition to the networking events noted above, other events take place throughout the year and are hosted by a member firm or at an outside venue in downtown
Boston.
